HELICOPTERS (AUSTRALIA) proudly carries out Marine Pilot Transfer Operations in support of Pilbara Iron (previously known as Hamersley Iron and ROBE River Mining), a Rio Tinto Iron Ore Company, based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

In addition to providing Marine Pilot Transfer flights, HELICOPTERS (AUSTRALIA) is also permitted to conduct flights in support of the local shipping agencies, which ultimately assists in ensuring efficient operations both for our client and, in general, the Port of Dampier and Port Walcott.

HELICOPTERS (AUSTRALIA) has a highly experienced team operating out of its dedicated hanger facilty, based at Karratha Airport.

Flights are conducted in three HELICOPTERS (AUSTRALIA) Bell 206 Jetrangers, specifically equipped for night and over water operations, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. These helicopters are also maintained, on site and around the clock, by our engineering staff.

The facilities HELICOPTERS (AUSTRALIA) has in Karratha not only allow for the professional conduct of our Marine Pilot Transfer Operations, but also provide a "spring board" for our Perth based operations out into the remote Northern areas of Western Australia, providing invaluable support to the aircraft to help ensure reliable and efficient operations to all our clients.
